Simple terms, clearly stated.

By downloading, installing, or using Vesper ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Vesper on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these terms and Apple's App Store terms of service.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense any part of the App. You may not reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App.

You own everything you write in Vesper. Your journal entries, mood logs, and photos belong to you. We claim no rights over your content.

You are responsible for the content you add to the App. By using Vesper, you agree not to input content that is illegal or that violates the rights of others.

Vesper offers optional premium features available through an in-app purchase or subscription. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.

Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their App Store refund policy.

You agree not to use Vesper to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
• Transmit any material that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, or harmful.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its related systems.
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality.

Vesper is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

We make no warranty that the App will meet your specific requirements or that the results obtained from use of the App will be accurate or reliable.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — Vesper or its content.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Vesper or any part of it at any time. We may update these terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via an in-app notice and update the date at the top of this page.

Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is registered. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
